During the 2016 Content in Context session War Stories - Doing Business as Business Changes, Nader Qaimari, President of Follett School Solutions, discussed the lessons he learned during his company's digital transition. In an effort to bring Follett more fully into the edtech age, they invested heavily in taking current content from print to digital. Unfortunately, the educators' reactions were not as positive as they had hoped because they did not focus on the instructional support materials. In retrospect, Qaimari said he would have spent more time talking with customers about their product needs. He would have also invested more time and money in ensuring the content would be used effectively in the digital medium.
