Membership Benefits

Good News!

AAP has worked diligently to substantially increase member benefits.

Members now have the opportunity to present titles for review to Publishers Weekly and Library Journal. In addition, members are now able to present titles to an audience of over 50 regional acquisition librarians through AAP's BookBuzz Program, a forum for independent and small press publishing houses to present an exclusive look at your most exciting new releases to attending librarians. Regions and dates are planned at the AAP’s Library Committee meetings.

A 25% discount (a $50 value) to join PubMatch, an online foreign rights book fair. Your title (s) is viewed by buyers from all over the world, and you are contacted directly to negotiate the terms of the sale.

Members are offered deeply discounted booth space at both the 2012 Book Expo America , the London Book Fair and Digital Book World, with all details handled by AAP as a courtesy.

Members receive a free BookStats, a comprehensive statistical report of Sales from U.S. publishers, broken out by format (eBook included), category, and market segment. As a member, your savings are $395.

AAP’s Monthly Statistical report, detailing domestic sales by category, sales and market segment, is free to members who submit their statistics for inclusion in the report. As a submitting member, your savings are $975. As a non-submitting member, your savings are $525 year.
