The PSP Books Committee will be hearing from guest speaker Betsy Donohue, VP Publisher Business Development, Digital Science on Friday, April 13th from 11:00am-12:00pm (EST) at the McGraw-Hill/NY offices.

In this presentation Betsy will consider why this is important and the implications for how knowledge is published and distributed, and how it may influence the way we consume literature.

As part of this she’ll explore some real-life case studies that look at the data currently available for historical archives, books and other digitized content. She’ll examine the motivations of organizations behind their publications and determine how new metrics of reach and influence play a role in their bigger strategy.
