Bring your lunch with you and join us in person, or listen via webinar, to hear about the challenges and the benefits for Women in PSP Publishing.

More and more women are climbing the ranks of scholarly publishing, an industry distinguished by a majority female workforce, a progressive culture, and a stubborn glass ceiling. Industry veterans Jeri Wachter (William Andrew) and Susan Spilka (Wiley, CHORUS) will lead a panel discussion on gender equity issues, featuring:

Bamini Jayabalasingham (Elsevier)
Susan King (Rockefeller University Press)
Wendy Newsham (Mary Ann Liebert)
Simone Taylor

The panelists will share their observations about navigating professional pathways in our community, with its unique opportunities and challenges. They'll draw on their own experiences to provide guidance to the audience, and will touch on topics such as work/life balance, professional training & development, mentoring/coaching, networking, career growth, workplace & meeting behaviors, and compensation negotiation.

The afternoon will end with an opportunity to network with your colleagues and speak to the presenters (in person only attendees).

Register today for this free session but hurry, as space is limited.
