    We’re drowning in data! With so much content and digital sorting to do, it’s hard to find what’s relevant. Well, curation to the rescue! Curation is by definition “organizing and maintaining a collection of artworks or artifacts,” but in today’s digital- and media-driven world, it means “adding context to content” so that all of this information is filtered, managed, and organized.

    This year’s Association of American Publishers (AAP) General Annual Meeting ( #AAP2015) on March 18 features an exciting roster of speakers. Irshad Manji, Cornel West, Andrew Keen, David Brooks, and G. Sayeed Choudhury are scheduled to share their insights on an array of timely topics. The speakers represent unique and respected voices from our industry, and will address the use of large-scale data, diversity and free expression, and the impact of technology, among other topics important to publishers today.
