HarperCollins Publishers Worldwide
Brian Murray is President and Chief Executive Officer of HarperCollins, a subsidiary of News Corporation. He oversees the HarperCollins global book publishing operations in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, India and China. He was appointed to this position in June, 2008.
Murray joined HarperCollins in 1997 and held several positions in the General Books Group until 2001, when he was named Chief Executive Officer of HarperCollins Australia/New Zealand. In 2004, he returned to HarperCollins in the United States as Group President and was promoted to President of HarperCollins Worldwide in July 2007.
Prior to joining HarperCollins, Murray was a consultant in the Media Practice at Booz Allen & Hamilton, one of the country’s leading consulting firms.
