Bringing Innovation in Teacher Professional Development to Scale

The 2015 Content in Context (CIC) conference featured three Innovation Interludes—brief, informal conversations between early-stage “edupreneurs” and seasoned industry experts—that examined the definition of innovation and explored the realities of bringing new ideas to market. This segment features Christine Willig (McGraw-Hill Education) and Will Morris (EdConnective). EdConnective is a research-based professional development program that employs video technology for both observation and feedback and uses back-end data analytics to increase efficacy. In the clip below Chris and Will discuss how difficult it can be to scale professional development programs and how EdConnective is tackling the issue.
