Chris Willig, Visionary Award Winner: Unlocking the Potential of Every Learner

Christine WilligChris Willig, President, School Group for McGraw-Hill Education, will receive the Visionary Award at the AAP PreK-12 Learning Group’s Lamplighter Honors Gala on December 7. The Visionary Award is given to individuals for their insight and exceptional leadership. Chris is receiving this award for her commitment to ensuring all educators and students have access to exemplary professional development and learning resources whether print, digital, or both.

In this video, Chris discusses why education is such an important opportunity for all students, the biggest shifts she has seen in STEM, and the potential impact of learning science on education and the learning resource industry: "This work and the work of McGraw-Hill is unlocking the potential of each learner through what we do best, and that is linking content, technology, [and] pedagogy through learing science to help students learn."
