During an inteview with Larry Jacobs on Education Talk Radio, Jo-Ann McDevitt, Strategic Partnerships Executive for the AAP PreK-12 Learning Group, and Michael Johnson, Founder of Full Potential Associates, discussed the upcoming Content in Context conference and its focus on key issues, such as OER, edtech standards, and digital literacy, that are impacting the industry. In addition, they touched on the changing dynamics of the PreK-12 market and why even though our focus should be on creating quality content, the business aspects of the industry need attention too.

- Marketing challenges in the U.S. market because of the diversity of students, educators, and school districts
- The need for content developers to understand the business aspects of the industry. After all, commented Michael Johnson, no matter how perfect your content is, if you can't get it in front of teachers and administrators, it doesn't mean anything.
The 2016 Content in Context will take place June 6-8 in Philadelphia.
