Redefining What We Mean by "Learning"

2015 Content in Context keynote speaker Jordan Shapiro, Digital Learning Coordinator in the Intellectual Heritage Department at Temple University, challenged attendees to rethink how we define learning. With new digital tools like the Internet that aid in information collection and recall we now need to be focusing on teaching children the processes of interpretation, classification, and analysis, which are key to critical thinking skills.
