AAP Urges the U.S. House & Senate to Fund Libraries

AAP sent letters today to the U.S. House and Senate Appropriations Committees urging their support for library funding. The letters specifically ask Senators Roy Blunt and Patty Murray, and Representatives Tom Cole and Rosa DeLauro to maintain funding programs covered by the Library Services and Technology Act, and the Innovative Approaches to Literacy Program, which are important for modern library and patron services.
